Welcome back to Bardel 360º! Last time we took a look into the live action/animated crossover Lah-Lah’s Adventures. To give that a read click HERE. Today we’ll be focusing on a different Bardel coproduction, Mother Up!, giving an insight on the show’s history, plot, and some of the great talent involved.
WHAT IS MOTHER UP?
Mother Up! is an adult animated sitcom revolving around a character named Rudi Wilson, a former high-powered music executive, and her struggles to conform to a life of motherhood in suburbia. Used to her fast and flashy lifestyle, Rudi handles the endless challenges of parenthood with a series of misguided and improvised solutions. The show stars former Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria as Rudi. Longoria will also be acting as an Executive Producer on the show, along with Michael Shipley, who’s credits include American Dad, My Name is Earl, and Family Guy, as well as Bardel’s own Barry Ward and Delna Bhesania.

A coproduction with Mass Animation and Breakthrough Entertainment, Bardel Entertainment will be providing designs, storyboards, animatics, production, backgrounds, and animations for the series.
Mother Up! will be premiering next year as part of City TV’s Primetime lineup in Canada and as an exclusive on digital streaming service Hulu in the United States.
